Professional Background
Joella Bruckshaw began her career as a family therapist at a London Teaching Hospital facilitating families, groups and individuals. This was followed by a ten-year period of designing and delivering a wide range of communication courses in the state and private sectors. During this period she was also involved in meeting the organisational development needs of small to medium enterprises (SMEs) using the Gestalt systems approach and action methods.
In 1992 she joined the Family Mediators Association first as a family mediator, then as a Board member. She also trained mediators, had supervision responsibility for 50 mediators and assessed mediators nationally for the Legal Services Commission.
For the last 5 years Joella has worked as an executive coach, mainly with directors of SMEs but also with decision makers in the NHS and the legal profession in the North of England. Joella recently relocated to London.
