Professional Background
Hilary’s experience spans a range of organisations and sectors. She has held senior roles in the civil service and not-for-profit sector and now combines running her own career coaching business with associate work as an executive coach and leadership development consultant for Rema Consulting and with a part-time role as Programme Director for WIG (The Whitehall & Industry Group). WIG exists to improve understanding and co-operation between the public and private sectors. Hilary co-delivers WIG’s highly successful Leadership Programme, facilitating action learning groups of delegates from organisations as diverse as BT, HM Treasury, Financial Services Authority, Rolls-Royce plc, Oxfordshire County Council and ConocoPhillips. Her coaching clients are mainly senior and middle managers from large organisations e.g. civil service department, major banks, management consultancies. She also works with self-employed consultants and other professionals and senior managers from the voluntary sector.
