My formal qualifications relate to my previous life in engineering, but here they are anyway….

....plus lots of management type courses that don’t give formal qualifications, but which probably mean more in real life
Professional Background
I’ve spent 25 years working in international telecomms mainly as a project and development manager with a multi-national company. This has meant a good deal of international travel. I’ve done a fair amount of training within the company and for our customers, and found I’m pretty good at it. I’ve always had an interest in helping to develop the people who worked for me so it seemed natural to move into training when I left Alcatel in 2004.
I’ve been involved with Mencap for about 18 years, both locally, and as a trustee of the national organisation, and I’ve been able to use my professional skills to good effect for the charity.
My consulting career brings my professional expertise and voluntary sector knowledge together – I train primarily in project management, but can cover many other topics. I also provide an interim management service at all levels, including chief executive.
