I became a coach and consultant because my greatest passion is helping individuals and businesses to discover and use all the talents and skills they have. With 20 years experience in the financial services sector building and running high performing teams I use that knowledge in a very practical and dynamic style that is designed to bring energy and real results to all the work I am involved in.
Born in Lanark in Scotland where I acquired my lifelong passion for the outdoors I studied English Language and Literature at Edinburgh University and still write for pleasure. I live in London but at the weekends often head for the hills of the Lake District for my fix of mountains and nature. When I can, I love to take time out to travel and explore the world through trekking and climbing.

Style
- I bring a huge amount of energy, passion and commitment to my work as I believe that you can only be truly effective when you are as passionate about your client’s success as they are.
- I am a very active listener and will want to truly understand what makes the individual or the business tick.
- as well as working one on one with individuals I really enjoy and excel at strategic business thinking and I love understanding the complexities of a wide and varied range of businesses. To me you can only support a business and its people when you take time to understand the culture and dynamics. This method of working was the key to the success of my own teams when I worked as a business leader in the financial services sector.

Consultancy
I provide consulting in:
- Strategic business planning – active and knowledgeable facilitation and support in the creation and delivery of new business models
- New product development, distribution and marketing.
- External Project management support providing a structured framework for accountability and delivery of the project goals.
- Business process re-engineering and change management focused around behaviour and culture change.
Executive Coaching
With many years experience of successfully developing and coaching high performing teams and individuals in a business environment I use both my practical business experience and my NLP skills to work with individuals seeking to find the best direction, improve their performance, gain leadership skills and find the right work-life balance. I take a practical problem solving approach to my coaching sessions using a variety of structured support tools and techniques. My focus is on results that ensure long lasting change that is in harmony with the individual’s goals and values.
Due to my own varied company experience, I also offer ‘integration coaching’. This specialist product is designed for companies bringing in new talent who want to support the individual in making the changes necessary to succeed as quickly as possible and rapidly integrate into a new culture and working environment.

With over 20 years business experience my facilitation style is challenging, active and practical. I facilitate:

Certified Practitioner of NLP
Will be certified Master Practitioner of NLP in July 2006
I use NLP tools and techniques in all my work to ensure sustainable and holistic change and to help individuals be the best possible communicators and inspirational leaders.
