Style
I have a warm and friendly yet business-focused approach, using powerful and challenging questions sprinkled with humour when appropriate. I combine a structured approach with a flexible and informal style enabling me to tailor each coaching or action learning programme to the needs of the client.
Executive Coaching
I offer Career Coaching, Executive Coaching and Work/Life Balance Coaching. I am a certified NLP Coach and Licensed Career Coach.
Career Coaching
I am a Licensed Firework Career Coach. I work mainly with senior and middle managers to help them find the work, and the life, they will love. They are typically from sectors such as the civil service, financial services, management consultancy, IT and telecomms industries. I help those at a career crossroads make the right decision about where to go next. This might mean a complete change of career or a re-focusing of their current career. My clients might be wishing to change sectors, to use redundancy or early retirement to change career, or be professional women looking for a new career following a break form work. My Career Coaching Programme is flexible and can be adapted to the needs of the client. It takes a whole life approach and so can easily be combined with Executive or Personal Coaching.
Executive Coaching
I have worked with clients from government departments such as Department for Work and Pensions and Home Office and from private sector organisation such as Royal Bank of Scotland to support them in reaching new levels of performance and help them reach their potential as leaders.
Work/Life Balance Coaching
Using a range of tried and tested tools and techniques I can help clients manage their lives and work more effectively. I offer a range of Work/Life Balance programmes from a series of short sessions over 3-6 months to a ‘Workout’ comprising two 2-hour sessions with between-session email or telephone support.
Facilitation
I have considerable experience of facilitating action learning groups, often focusing on delegates’ real-time leadership issues. Action learning is a process for individual and organisational development where small groups of people come together to learn from and with each other and to take action to resolve real-time issues. The structured process I use enables individuals to enhance their own coaching skills as part of the process.
NLP
I am a certified NLP Master Practitioner and NLP Coach. I trained with Ian McDermott at ITS. My NLP background offers me a wide range of tools and approaches that I integrate into my coaching and action learning facilitation.
