Consultancy
I bring over 25 years experience as a manager, mentor and change agent working in the voluntary, private and public sectors. As Organisational Development Consultant for Birmingham City Council, the largest local authority in Western Europe, I led projects focusing on social responsibility, stakeholder consultation, quality assurance, leadership development, cultural change and internal coaching.
Executive Coaching
I have over 500 hours of corporate coaching experience working with senior managers and business transformation leaders working in the public sector. I have experience of using and interpreting personality tests, interest inventories, skill surveys, developmental and 360° assessments. As an ontological coach my priority is to collect personal and contextual data. The approach I use will be influenced by the client and the brief.
Facilitation
I have experience of facilitating inter-agency partnership teams as well as senior management and frontline teams in public services and small businesses. As a result I have extensive knowledge of competing management needs, diverse professioanl interests, interpersonal conflicts and the cultural conditions that shape business solutions.
Training
I enjoy management training that enables me to bespoke the content and approach to meet client requirements and my personal style. I offer a range workshops that deal with a variety of manager and team development topics, such as ‘Managing Complex Processes and Priorities’, ‘NLP Skills for Managers’, ‘Responsibility for Results’, ‘Managing the Dynamics of Change’, ‘Managing for Wellness’, ‘Stakeholder Consultation and Management’, ‘Motivation through Engagement’, Coaching for Change Managers’, ‘Negotiation Skills for Change Agents’, ‘Partnership Working’, ‘Leading Real Change’, etc.
NLP
As a qualified and certified manager and experienced NLP Practitioner I use my skills to offer quicker and more effective learning opportunities to my professional clients. NLP informs my training style and the accelerated learning tools that I offer. I run introductory sessions in NLP for managers and workshops for change leaders.
