Style
I relish a challenge! I’m motivated by achievement and am happiest when faced with a problem that needs a solution. I’m not just a strategist – I don’t mind getting my hands dirty and getting the job done..
I can work equally well on my own, or as part of a team
Consultancy
I provide consultancy in management and business skills based on my professional and voluntary experience.
I worked in international telecomms for 25 years, covering most areas of product development and manufacturing in telecomms, including team building, programme management, software development, customer management, handbooks and training etc.
My charitable sector experience gained as a volunteer with bodies related to learning disability, at local and national level, as chairman of a large and active local Mencap society and trustee of the National Society. Experience covers all aspects of charitable sector, including governance, service provision, promoting awareness, fund raising etc., working with both volunteers, paid staff and statutory bodies at all levels. Professional experience includes provision of training to third sector organisations and interim management at chief executive level.
