Steve Amos has worked as an independent training consultant since 1998, specialising in management skills, interviewing skills and trainer training. He has worked with a wide range of clients in the public, private and voluntary sectors.

Style
Steve is committed to delivering excellent training and development opportuntities which respond to customer needs and achieve agreed objectives. He is a clear succinct communicator with excellent listening and questioning skills.
Consultancy
Steve has worked as a consultant with numerous government departments and agencies. This has included the design and delivery of a national programme on behalf of the Asset Recovery Agency and the Department for Constitutional Affairs to improve the enforcement of confiscation orders through the courts system.
Steve has also provided consultancy support in the private sector, for example working with the management team of a printing/design company.
Steve has great experience in working with competence frameworks and is able to provide consultancy support in this area.
Executive Coaching
Steve has worked as a coach with executives, managers and trainers in a range of organisations. This includes offering ongoing coaching support following training programmes.
He delivers training in coaching skills for managers with clients in central government and local authorities.
Facilitation
Steve has facilitated teambuilding events for teams in public and private sector organisations. These have been business-focused, with a view to improving business performance through more effective team-working.
He is currently chair of the ‘Facilitating Participative Learning’ course at the National School of Government.
