Assertiveness skill’s are essential for increasing self-esteem and can be used in varying situations, such as dealing with a difficult boss, disciplining your child, communicating your needs effectively with your partner to dealing with that person who pushed in front of you of a very long queue.
Learning Objectives
The day is a practical and hands on workshop that will assist you and provide you with proven techniques on being more assertive, such as:
Identifying those situations that currently make you feel uncomfortable
Understanding the Passive, Aggressive and Assertive communication styles
How to prepare and assertively communicate your needs and legitimate rights- The LADDER Technique
Understanding and practicing the benefit of listening and effective body Language.

Who is it for?
This course is suitable for a breadth of individual’s who would like to increase their self-esteem by feeling confident and comfortable in situations that are otherwise stressful, upsetting or angers them.
Learning methods
The Workshop will be predominantly excercises and group work, with reflection at the end of each excercise.
