I am seeking feedback from members on the best day for Gatherings. The first Gathering was on a Saturday and was well attended. I asked the group about the best day and they decided that a Thursday would be best and that we should practice good work life balance by avoiding weekends.

However, since then there has been a high level of frustrated apologies from members who have had to miss Gatherings because of client bookings.

This is a tough one, given we all try to balance business development, client commitments and a life.

If you could develop a calendar of meetings planning out as far as possible it should mean that even the busiest of us can schedule in the meetings furthest out when our diaries are least commited. Clearly the value and relevance of the session will then determine whether these bookings will stick.

Personally, week days are preferable and I’ll be more able to make it if sessions can start a around 11 as I’m based in London with a school run first thing.

Very sorry I couldn’t attend the latest event. REALLY wanted to be there.

A choice of weekday or Saturday would be ideal. Perhaps we could have a schedule of dates planned 3/6 months in advance, with the content agreed nearer the time?

My suggestion would be to arrange the next oone for a saturday and see what response you get. I’m doing this at a weekend because I was at the Brefi workshop last Thursday!!
